The celebrity shared a picture with her followers which accompanied a lengthy caption about how grateful she was for the woman's influence on her life and the value she places on the relationship.
Mazwai explained how she had lost her mother at the age of 12 but that she had been gifted a stand-in to shower her in motherly love.
The poet also made a point to stress how important it was to be loved and how it can change a person's behaviour.
The photograph that Ntsiki posted had her wearing zebra print and her mother figure in a leopard print, with both laughing and smiling in the sunlight.
Her caption read:
"I lost my mom at 12yrs old..... Life was FLAMES without a mother. 3years ago the universe said...... Ina Ntsiki.... Nanku umama......This woman has literally changed my life and taught me love from a parent I never even knew was possible. When you are loved you act different."
