The passing of the actress Lindiwe Ndlovu broke many hearts across Mzansi. Fellow actress Nomsa Buthelezi has taken the opportunity to open up about the truths of the acting industry in South Africa.

Nomsa spoke about how some people in the industry are mean-spirited on a Facebook Live broadcast.

She started off by saying that she has a heavy heart because of Lindiwe's death and said that she had a lot on her mind.

Nomsa told her fans on Facebook that it is better to celebrate someone while they are still alive and not wait until they are gone to do so.

"Do not buy me flowers when I am gone, show me now that you love me and that I have a place in your heart. Do not post my pictures when I am gone, tell me now that you love me and show me," said Nomsa.

She also spoke about how people who hold higher positions in the industry tend to be bitter.

Nomsa said that the big bosses can decide to write off your character at any moment, without considering that you may have a family to support.

She added that she has been working hard in the industry for a number of years but she is still not as well off as she would like to be.

Nomsa paid tribute to Lindiwe by talking about how she could confide in her during times of stress. She said that actors get paid less than what they deserve and end up leaving the world broke.

In similar news, Briefly.co.za reported that Menzi Ngubane paid a heartfelt tribute to the late actress. Veteran actor Menzi Ngubane has penned a heartfelt tribute to late actress Lindiwe Ndlovu. Ngubane took to Twitter on Monday night, 11 January to share his reaction to the news of the Lockdown actress's passing.

The former Generations (now defunct) star expressed that his heart is heavy following the death of the talented award-winning actress. Ngubane joined scores of people who have used social media to mourn the passing of Lindiwe.
