- There was no special occasion but Connie mentioned that she did not need a reason to appreciate her husband
- The star even bought a cake to celebrate Shona just being himself and express gratitude for who he is
The Fergusons are one of South Africa's most iconic celebrity couples and there are clearly multiple reasons that they have been together for almost two decades.
Connie demonstrated some affection recently as she shared with her social media followers that she was celebrating her hubby Shona.
It was not an anniversary or birthday, the star clarified, but rather a moment to appreciate Shona just being who he is to her.
Connie even got a beautiful cake made for the moment and wrote as her caption:
"We don’t need a special day to celebrate a KING! Happy just nje day Mr. Sho. @ferguson_films Grateful for you today and always!"
Clearly the lovebirds don't need specific special occasions to show their love and are content to celebrate each other for exactly who they are.
In related news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on another moment of the Fergusons celebrating as Connie turned 50 and was surprised with a beautiful gift.
Connie Ferguson was recently surprised with a stunning portrait of herself while she was at the gym with her daughter, Alicia.
The Queen producer had been working out with Alicia and their personal trainer when the beautiful gift arrived. The veteran actress took to Instagram to show off the stunning portrait.
Connie celebrated her 50th birthday in June but her friends who did not get to share her special day with her due to the Covid-19 pandemic are still giving her presents.
The star shared videos of the portrait arriving. She revealed that it was painted by artist Doctor Khumalo. She captioned her post:
"@dj_kandi_c_sa I have no words! This is just too beautiful! Thank you for my 50th gift! After @sinalonokele563 killed us in today’s #suicidesaturday, this just lifted my mood and my spirit so much I could have done another full session.
"The artist @doctortizakhumalo, my brother you are talented! We thank God for your gift! Today is a good day! Thank you both so much! Love you Charmaine @dj_kandi_c_sa."
