'Isibaya' Actress Asavela Mngqithi Bids Emotional Farewell to Show

Mzansi actress Asavela Mngqithi came on screen as Ntwenhle on Isibaya and the country fell in love with her character. It has been confirmed that the show will not be renewed for another season and the actors of the show have been pouring out emotional goodbyes.

Asavela was one of them and she took to Twitter to talk about her experience on the telenovela.

The actress was originally only supposed to be on the show for a period of six months but she impressed. Over some time she was added to the cast officially.

Asavela also thanked Bomb productions and Isibaya for giving her a shot at acting in one of the biggest productions in the country.

In other Mzansi television news, Briefly.co.za reported that Thando Thabethe is set to star in a new drama series. After the success of How to Ruin Christmas: The Wedding, Thando Thabethe is set to star in a new television series.
