Zuma married his first wife, Gertrude Sizakele Khumalo, in 1973. He married Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma in 1978 and divorced her in 1998. They gave birth to four children, Msholozi, Gugu, Thuli, and Thuthukile, and Dlamini.
