Robber Gets the Shock of His Life After Would Be Victim Pulls out Gun

A clip of a robber getting a lot more than he bargained for after attempting to rob a man who was walking nearby. While it is unclear how old the video is, Twitter user @DanielMarven explained that the incident happened in Hillbrow.

In the short clip, the robber can be seen trying to grab hold of the pedestrian who walks past him and a bunch of other men. When the pedestrian pulls away, the robber starts to follow him but soon stops as he realises that his victim is pulling out a gun.

The man then retreats and appears to be apologising to his would-be victim who is now pointing the gun directly at the thug. Surprisingly, the men around them all continue with what they were doing, almost oblivious to what was unfolding before them.

"Hillbrow criminal who always robs pedestrians nearly saw his maker," Daniel captioned the clip.

In other Briefly.co.za news, a group of students were paying closely attention to their professor during a virtual class on Zoom when something horrifying happened. One of the student, a lady identified only by her screen name Majo, was robbed while her classmates looked on helplessly.

Majo, who hails from Ecuador, muted her laptop's microphone during the lecture. She then looked behind her to the door when the intruders entered. After a moment, the other students realised what happened and they told the professor, whom instructed them to alert the police.

According to EastCoastRadio, the thugs were arrested and Majo and her family were unharmed. The video has since been shared online and quickly gathered over 94 000 views.
