Big Zulu has shared his thoughts on Nasty C's album name, Zulu Man With Some Power. The Imali Eningi hitmaker made the comments during a recent interview on MacG's Podcast and Chill.
MacG asked Big Zulu whether the There They Go hitmaker was misappropriating the Zulu culture by calling himself "Zulu Man With Some Power".
"He is our child who is overseas doing what he has to do. He has his own way of doing things, I don’t think we should have a problem."
The rapper said he respects Nasty C because he is representing the country overseas, especially in the US.
"I respect the boy and I don’t think it is only for Zulus. You see all of that, he is where he is, he is representing the country overseas, he is doing what he is suppose to do."
Nota Baloyi previously said that Nasty C’s album title would fit Big Zulu. At the time, Big Zulu's single Imali Eningi was on high rotation on radio and TV.
The talented musician took to Twitter to share that Isiginci, Vuma Dlozi, Imali Eningi and Ama Million have received platinum plaques. The Imali Eningi hitmaker worked with the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Musiholiq, Riky Rick Intaba Yase Dubai on the hot singles.
Big Zulu is one of the Mzansi rappers who are doing very well in terms of music streaming and sales. He gained a lot of fans in December last year when he dropped Imali Eningi. The song was huge during the festive season.
The star's hard work and dedication is paying off big times. Nkabi's fans took to his comment section on the micro-blogging app to congratulate him.
