South African-born actress Thuso Mbedu is making big strides overseas. The thespian is set to be in the May issue of Vogue magazine. Thuso took to social media to share the news with her followers. She tweeted:
"Things to look forward to: The May 2021 issue of Vogue magazine celebrating Mr Giorgio Armani."
The actress is doing the most in the US and has a starring role in the Amazon series The Underground Railroad. She was also once nominated for an Emmy award for her performance in the Mzansi Magic show, Isthunzi.
Now, the lovely actress is going to feature in one of the biggest fashion magazines in the world. It's an honour to be in Vogue as it is the benchmark for stars who have officially paved their way in entertainment.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Nomzamo Mbatha and Thuso Mbedu are making South Africa proud in Hollywood. South Africans are being featured more regularly overseas such as Black Coffee, Charlize Theron, Elon Musk and Trevor Noah.
Two more South Africans are being recognised for their talent in Hollywood. Thuso Mbedu and Nomzamo Mbatha have been given the nod as they feature in Essence’s 20 Young Black Hollywood stars To Watch.
Nomzamo Mbatha comes in at number nine and has worked with some big names like Eddie Murphy. She landed a role in Coming 2 America, Murphy's sequel to the popular movie from decades ago.
Thuso Mbedu made her international debut in The Underground Railroad and she is likely to land some big roles in the future.
