Lil Wayne and Young Thug are reportedly working on new music. The US rappers were spotted in studio together recently.

A few days ago, footage of Wayne and Thugger recording new music in a studio in Los Angeles, California surfaced online. The two musicians were first spotted partying at Diddy's son, King Combs' 23rd birthday party.

According to lilwaynehq.com, Young Money's Lil Twist and HoodyBaby were also part of the studio session with Wayne and Thugger.

Complex reports that Thugger emerged on the hip-hop scene during the beginning of Wayne's forced hiatus and legal issues with Cash Money.

The publication reports that due to slight stylistic similarities, Wayne decided to go on the offensive against Thug and dissed him at shows. The two seem to have put the past behind them now.

Even Nasty C took to Instagram and shared the tracklist of the US rapper's supposed new album titled Ascension. The 16-track "album" features other US superstars such as Beyoncé, H.E.R and Rick Ross.

The Africa-themed project features big artists from the African continent including Nasty C, Olamide, Sakordie and Femi Kuti.

Nasty took to Instagram late on Thursday and posted the tracklist. He did not caption it. He has since deleted it. Some social media users fell for the prank while others did not believe the news at all.
