A raging fire in Cape Town has caused a lot of destruction in the area. Some of the many affected are University of Cape Town students, many of who belong to the Fuller House student residence. The Gift of the Givers organisation has stepped in to help these students.

Heading online, the organisation shared a touching and heartwarming posy about how they have stepped in to provide meals for about 4k students whose student house was affected by the fires that have plagued the area.

"#GiftOfTheGivers responds to #UniversityofCapeTown Fuller House (students residence) Fire. Our teams have responded by preparing meals for 4000 students for this evening. UCT has requested #GiftoftheGivers to manage the feeding and other essentials for the next week" they captioned snaps of the fires.

Briefly News, Gift of the Givers founder Dr Imtiaz Sooliman thanked Mzansi for the love and support the disaster relief group has received. Dr Sooliman added that the organisation believes there is no need for special thanks from the government.
