Robbery Goes Wrong, Video Shows Thug Beaten and Begging for Mercy

- A video that depicts a robbery that went horribly wrong is doing the rounds on social media in Mzansi and a thug was defeated

- South African social media users are amused after a video posted by @RSA_Trucker shows a thug begging for leniency as he is beaten by the man he targeted

Sometimes the saying that crime doesn’t pay is usually taken for granted by those who are always looking to prey on unsuspecting people. However, it became reality in a video clip that is circulating on social media when a brave man managed to deal with the thugs accordingly.

A video posted by @RSA_Trucker on Twitter gives a free lesson on how to deal with robbers who always think they will get their way into someone’s belongings.

Although it's not clear where the video was shot, two criminals appear to be looking to prey on a man who just parked his car and they are seemingly demanding the keys or his valuables, but the man teaches one of the thugs a lesson.

The video, which had attracted 44 retweets and over 100 likes by the time Briefly News published, carried a simple caption, "Messed with the wrong guy."

Looking at the comments, many Mzansi social media users have also issued a stern warning to those who are targeting to rob people.

Briefly News reported that hijackings in South Africa are not uncommon occurrences and several videos have made their way online showing these crimes in action.

However, not every hijacking attempt is successful and sometimes it is the thugs who are caught off-guard.

One recent incident, which took place at an intersection in Pinetown, Durban, was caught on video showing a motorist fighting back.
