Sometimes the saying that crime doesn’t pay is usually taken for granted by those who are always looking to prey on unsuspecting people. However, it became reality in a video clip that is circulating on social media when a brave man managed to deal with the thugs accordingly.
A video posted by @RSA_Trucker on Twitter gives a free lesson on how to deal with robbers who always think they will get their way into someone’s belongings.
Although it's not clear where the video was shot, two criminals appear to be looking to prey on a man who just parked his car and they are seemingly demanding the keys or his valuables, but the man teaches one of the thugs a lesson.
The video, which had attracted 44 retweets and over 100 likes by the time Briefly News published, carried a simple caption, "Messed with the wrong guy."
Looking at the comments, many Mzansi social media users have also issued a stern warning to those who are targeting to rob people.
“I can watch this over and over. The best thing of the week. The guy is a hero. Make tsotsis squeal like a tortured piglet.”
“If we train self defence, Jiu-Jitsu won't let you down.”
“That man must be paid, seriously that is the police force we need in South Africa.”
“And the friend? He's just standing there watching the friend being broken into pieces.”
“This guy is very strong, he's still can run after what he got.....lol.”
“The poor guy had a pig in his back pocket.. they boy slammed him and the poor animal squealed in pain.”
Briefly News reported that hijackings in South Africa are not uncommon occurrences and several videos have made their way online showing these crimes in action.
However, not every hijacking attempt is successful and sometimes it is the thugs who are caught off-guard.
One recent incident, which took place at an intersection in Pinetown, Durban, was caught on video showing a motorist fighting back.
