Veteran actress Sophie Lichaba’s marriage is reportedly on the rocks. This is according to the Sunday World, who reported that Sophie Ndaba and Max Lichaba separated in March last year.
The marriage fell apart just a month after the couple renewed their wedding vows.

The publication reports that the pair have tried to rekindle their love with no success. If it indeed does end in divorce, it will be Sophie’s third failed marriage.
According to Sunday World, their split was revealed by a close friend who wished to stay anonymous. The source said that Lichaba has moved out of their rented house in Joburg and has moved back to the Northern Cape. Ndaba has moved back to her estate house, west of Joburg.
According to reports, Ndaba suspected that Lichaba was cheating on her with a woman from Kimberley.
Lichaba reportedly denied the allegations.
Meanwhile Briefly News previously reported that South African actress Sophie Lichaba has made headlines for her rapid weight loss over the years. She has mostly attributed it to being diagnosed with diabetes. The actress has now also opened up about her battle with depression that blinded her to the severe weight loss.
Speaking on Radio 2000 recently, the former Generations actress said that the weight loss resulted from her going through a dark period in her life.
“I was at the deepest point of depression. I can't even explain it. When I think about it, I am like 'God, you saved me' because I would look in the mirror and see the same voluptuous woman. You wear the same clothes, the same style at that size and you still think it is normal. That is how deep it was, I couldn't see a thing."
Sophie only realised that things were bad when she saw pictures of herself on social media. She admitted that the hardest part was accepting that her body no longer looked healthy.
The source of her depression came from the many fake reports of her death that trended on social media last year.
Briefly News reported that Sophie Lichaba is sick and tired of the rumours surrounding her health. The actress has slammed the recent reports that she was hospitalised due to poor health.
