"You’re a Wise Man": Man Loses Job, Starts Furniture Removal Company

Just as we grapple with the idea of starting our own businesses following the outbreak of the ravaging coronavirus pandemic, many South Africans are already buying into the idea.

Real name Oscar Magudulela and known as @OscarMagud on social media, the businessman says he recently lost his job through retrenchment but that was not the end for him.

The man now runs owns and runs L&M Removals, an office and household furniture removal company he started with his wife back in 2013.

With the business in its eighth year, Magudulela took to Twitter to share an important and inspiring update, that the establishment is doing exceptionally well. He wrote on Twitter:

“I lost my decent-paying job due to retrenchment and invested the payout to start L&M Removals from scratch. We are growing and building towards L&M International.”
