AKA and Nelli Tembe have been trending online after images and videos of their toxic relationship were leaked to the media.
Two more videos have emerged that from the Tembe and Forbes camps respectively.
In one of the videos, Nelli could be seen screaming and crying while a man tried to calm her down. She can be heard screaming:
“You don’t know what he is doing to me.”
The second video, which was allegedly released from a source within the AKA camp, shows the rapper filming the destruction in his house. He also films a crying Tembe, who is seen sitting on the floor while holding her head. The late 22-year-old could be heard saying:
“I just want my mom.”
AKA speaks in this video and alleged that Tembe was under the influence and attacked him. He clarified that he did not fight back and had a witness to prove it. He went on to say that he would use the video when they go to court.
The videos have been met with mixed reactions from social media users.
Here are some of the reactions:
“Are people still gonna say he was abusing her? I don't like the guy, even blocked him on socials, but honestly we can't pin his fiancée's death on him. This girl was sick, she needed help...Twitter needs to stop with one-sided blame shifting.”
“As for me I don't feel sorry for people who are using drugs, if they want to destroy their lives let them do so.”
“So your fiancée is sitting there crying and clearly not in their right state of mind and he is there making a video showing what happened and what will prove him innocent in court? I mean really?”
“Abusers always taking any evidence to say they're not the abusers, especially for the court and public... By this video he will claim "sweetheart fiancée", another Oscar!”
Meanwhile, Briefly News previously reported that Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes has finally spoken up about the death of his fiancée, Anele 'Nelli' Tembe. In a statement released online, the rapper shared that the passing of “the love of my life” was difficult to process.
“Every day feels like a mountain to climb. I miss Anele so much and I'm heartbroken at the unfulfilled life we had planned together.”
The rapper went on to say that the tragedy took a toll on his mental health.
“Insinuations and innuendos made on my personhood have made it even more difficult to process, and the strain our families have taken is unspeakable.”
Forbes said that he has decided to retreat from the public in order to find some clarity over the situation. He went on to say that he would be handing over his social media accounts to his management for the time being.
“Please respect our privacy as we go through our grieving process, and please continue to keep our families in your prayers.”
