Sizwe Dhlomo tuned into ESPN Africa last night like many South Africans, expecting to see entertaining boxing action by Cassper Nyovest and Priddy Ugly.

But the match ended as soon as it started, with Cassper knocking out Priddy in the first round.

In the following social media storm, Sizwe posted a string of tweets saying that Cassper should choose better opponents to make the matches more competitive. He posted:

The weight and height difference between the two came into play, and Priddy didn't stand a chance against the experienced Mufasa.

Sizwe tweeted Cassper to stop bullying other kids but wondered what possessed Priddy to accept this deal, to begin with.

The radio DJ further said that even brass knuckles wouldn't have given Priddy a fighting chance.

"I like Priddy Ugly man, that's a good dude. He doesn't bother anyone... Naye kodwa why did he accept this fight."

People online joined the discussion and gave their take on last night's fight.

@Mkekemba said:

"The weight difference is ridiculous, and it shouldn't have been allowed. That PriddyUgly was used as a rebound for that embarrassing performance against Naak."

@ZoeSeptember2 posted:

"At this rate, there needs to be more than one fight. Imagine paying that much money for the fight to finish before you finish your first drink. After the fight, they must perform. Ngeke phela."

@LoatileOfficial tweeted:

"Jump inside the ring and make it fair my brother."

@originaldyan commented:

"The ref should’ve allowed Priddy another round. I mean, he looked like he took the shots in."

@u_gunman mentioned:

"Too much. Size difference was too visible. Okare it's a kid from high school fighting some kid in grade 3."

@MannTanks added:

"Respect to Priddy, though. He tried. Boxing is tough & dangerous. You get hit one or the wrong vein, and everything disconnects. It’s good for the ref to call it off early - safe for all. Also, they are not pros."
