The Fela In Versace rapper died in Durban on 10 February. AKA was with his close friends when he was fatally shot outside a popular restaurant on Florida Road. Unknown gunmen opened fire on them killing Supa Mega instantly and his former manager.

Mzansi reacts to Rich Mahog's questions about who killed AKA

Many people accused Anele Tembe's dad of organising the hit on AKA. Anele died under mysterious circumstances in a Cape Town hotel. she was sharing a hotel room with Supa Mega.

During his performance, Nasty C stopped the music to pay homage to AKA. He showed love to the late rapper by telling the crowd to shout Supa Mega's name.
