As the country hailed the South African Police Services (SAPS) and the Gauteng organised crime unit for arresting four suspects in the DJ Sumbody murder case, the silence among the amapiano musos' circle seems to echo louder.
Controversial media personality Nota Baloyi questioned why Oupa Sefako's friends are not vocal about this major breakthrough. One of the Monate Mpolaye's hitmakers' friends includes rapper Cassper Nyovest, who was featured on the hit song.
DJ Sumbody was gunned down in Woodmead, Johannesburg, on 20 November 2022, in what seemed to be a hit. His bodyguard also died in the process.

DJ Sumbody's family speak out
In a previous report from Briefly News, the Sefoka family released a statement through the Be A Sumbody Foundation, reacting to the major arrests. They also hailed the law enforcers who worked relentlessly to nab the people involved in his murder.
One of those people arrested is a businessman from Sandton, named Katiso “KT” Molefe, who is accused of being the one who ordered the hit.
The Sefako family also thanked those who had been vocal about getting justice for DJ Sumbody's murder. "We would also like to thank South Africans, patriots, and supporters of DJ Sumbody and the foundation for their unwavering love, prayers, and solidarity."
