Actress Tsholo Matshaba recently opened up about her late husband, Chris Matshaba, who was famously known for his radio show on Motsweding FM.

The River actress, who recently bid farewell to her co-star Presley Chweneyagae, shares how she's been coping without her husband.

Matshaba, who is famously known for her roles on Muvhango and The River, currently plays the character of Maria on eTV's House of Zwide.

The fan-favourite actress shares in an interview with Daily Sun that it was a blessing that she was quickly able to get back to work after she lost her husband.

"We, as performers, know that our work is also its therapy; it heals," she says.

Matshaba adds that while she was shooting Muvhango, she was also on SABC2's comedy series, Skwizas.

According to an X post by ZAlebs, the former Muvhango actress previously shared that Chris Matshaba passed away after they had been married for 3 years.

"Never did I think we would go through 'til death do us part' only 3 years into our marriage," wrote the actress.

The former Muvhango actress and Chris Matshaba tied the knot on 27 December 2014, in Ramokokastad.

Chris passed away 3 years later, in February 2018, after losing the battle with cancer.
