Bathong, things aren't looking great for the veteran South African producer and filmmaker Duma Ka Ndlovu, as he got dragged on social media by one of his former employees and actors, Mbuso Khoza.
Despite him facing a hefty R25 million tax evasion case, Khoza couldn't let him off the hook as he announced on Facebook that the Muvhango producer has been owing him some royalties for all the songs he had created for the award-winning telenovela, Umkhokha: The Curse.
According to TshisaLIVE, Khoza pleaded with Ndlovu to pay him all the outstanding fees and to also stop ignoring his calls, knowing very well that he owes him some money.
"Duma Ndlovu, please take my call regarding the money you owe me on Umkhokha from 2021 until the last season. Please take my call. I composed many songs on the show. Please, awube wumuntu. Boya benyathi." he said.

Khoza mentioned:
"It is my account. Here I'm fighting for my rights, and someone has messed up; this is the truth. I don't care, and I'm fighting for the future of my children here. No one will tell me otherwise. As long as I see my money in my account, that's all."

Ndlovu's long-term partner leaves him
This isn’t the first time Duma has faced criticism for alleged nonpayment. Over the years, rumours from actors and crew members have emerged about productions connected to him, including the long-running soapie Muvhango, which recently concluded amid increasing reports of staff not being paid.
Due to unpaid salaries, several actors and people associated with the show’s future are now at risk, while Ndlovu’s relationship with Chicco Twala has taken a hit. Twala has often helped Ndlovu while the producer has failed to pay rent for Twala’s mansion, which is being used to shoot the show My Brother’s Keeper.
Ndlovu has appeared in court several times alongside co-conspirators over the alleged R25 million he owes to SARS.
