Concerns grow over controversial South African blogger Musa Khawula, who is currently serving time at Sun City Prison.

The blogger, who was previously spotted in jail in high spirits, is reportedly struggling with poor health.

Khawula also surprised his fans back in February 2025 when he abandoned his bail on his second charge.

Sources close to the blogger shared with News24 on Sunday, 31 August 2025, that Khawula is struggling with poor health, relying heavily on friends for essential supplies like food, toiletries, and medication to sustain him behind bars.

The social media personality faces multiple charges, including crimen injuria, hate speech, violating the Cybercrimes Act, and a separate attempted murder case from 2021.

The publication adds that Khawula's friends have sent food, hygiene products, and medication to ensure the blogger's well-being.

A close friend also shared with News24 that the blogger is tired and withdrawn, and he’s not the same Musa they knew.

Entertainment news channel MDN News shared on its X account on Sunday, 31 August 2025, that the blogger's supporters are concerned about his health.
