American rapper Cardi B was accused of faking her pregnancy during her multiple visits to court. Fans of the rapper speculated that she was pregnant with her fourth child, and it was because of her outfit choices.

The Bodak Yellow hitmaker faced charges of assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. This was due to a 2018 incident involving a security guard, Emani Ellis, who accused the rapper of assaulting her with her fingernails.

After the jury cleared her of the charges, Cardi B spoke to the press, saying:

"I work all day, and I work hard for my money, for my kids, for the people that I take care of. So don't you ever think that you're going to sue me, and I'm just going to settle."

After the closing arguments, she took to TikTok to dance her way into victory, and the video went viral.

Hilarious Cardi video clears pregnancy rumours

Pregnancy rumours swirled with some people accusing her of faking the pregnancy to sell her upcoming album, Am I The Drama. A fan page, @sunnybardi, wrote, "Cardi wearing a fake belly to make y'all think it’s a real pregnancy is peak album rollout. Because everyone has been talking about it since. Y'all don't peek game fr fr."

However, in the latest TikTok video, Cardi seemingly showed off her corset while dancing. The star welcomed her third baby with her ex-husband, Offset, who recently showed off her face.

A fan with the X handle @Belcaless reshared the video:

"Who was saying she was pregnant? Come to the front!" the fan exclaimed. In another post, she wrote, "That one BG who clocked it, idk who you are, but they thought you were delusional."

Offset apparently requests paternity test

In a previous report from Briefly News, Offset allegedly asked for a paternity test for one of his daughters with Cardi B during a mediation session.

The rapper seemingly confirmed the rumour after posting a picture of a popular TV show host on his Instagram stories on Friday, 15 August 2025.
