Former Black Motion group member Murdah Bongz was under scrutiny for his birthday messages dedicated to his daughter and step-daughter.
On TikTok, peeps ripped into Murdah, teasing him for going back to a house with a picturesque memory of the late Kiernan 'AKA' Forbes. The discourse began when peeps saw a photo of the late rapper on their wall.

On Facebook, user Lady Londie posted screenshots of the reactions to Murdah's birthday messages to both Asante Mohosana and Kairo Forbes.
It was his tone and choice of words when he wished Kairo a happy birthday, which seemed to die down when it was his biological daughter, whereas with Asante, it was very simple and to the point.
On the kidfluencer's birthday on 8 July 2025, Murdah said, "Happy birthday, my soul. Words can’t describe how much I love you. You're a blessing that came to my life, made it endlessly beautiful."
Whereas, on Asante's birthday on 8 September 2025, Murdah wrote a straightforward message, "Happy birthday to my beautiful daughter."
Relationship expert Paula Quinsee told Briefly News that blended families blossom when aspects such as mutual understanding of one's past and understanding their values and morals.
"Recognising that both sides in the relationship have history can make navigating the relationship easier," Quinsee said.

Paula added that understanding that kids have ties to their biological families and honouring the role that the biological parents play in their lives can help step-parents build their own relationships with the kids, which is vital in making a blended family thrive.
