Renowned broadcaster Sizwe Dhlomo reacted after content creator The Kiffness claimed that he lost a half-a-million-Rand brand deal because he defended the late American activist Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk was fatally shot on Wednesday, 10 September 2025, during a public event at Utah Valley University. While popular South African personalities such as Sol Phenduka shared their two cents on Kirk’s death, The Kiffness claimed he had lost a brand deal worth R500,000.

Sizwe Dhlomo sparked a flurry of reactions after he weighed in on The Kiffness’ allegations with his characteristic wit.

“Sizwe, do you realise how insecure this makes you appear?”

“Don’t be jealous of other people’s success. It’s not a good look.”

@lungi_love22 claimed:

“This is a promotional strategy. He’s trying to gain sympathy from the MAGA base and secure a gig equivalent in value to what he claims to have lost. I hope that crowd will embrace his cat-themed music.”
