Award-winning musician Chymamusique recently shared a touching message with his followers on X.
Chymamusique, whose real name is Collen Ntala Mmotla, is currently recovering from a tragic car accident that claimed the life of his friend, DJ Poizen.
Lately, the musician has regularly reflected on his life with his followers on social media
"There’s a lot I’m learning through this tough phase, and I wouldn’t wanna go six feet under without sharing it.
"I know it’s gonna help the next person. Please appreciate where you are in life; a lot can change in a split second."
When a fan suggested he take the time to recover and get off X, Chymamusique replied:
"That’s the only place I interact and feel normal, coz I’m bedridden and don’t wanna sit in silence and be depressed. Is there a bigger problem here, maybe?"

Chymamusique took to his social media on Friday, 12 September 2025, to update fans on his condition. He shared that he has to relearn how to walk.
He posted a photo of himself from his hospital bed, in which his legs are bandaged, and captioned the post:
"I can't wait to be able to stand and walk again. Lord, make me over again."
The Limpopo artist revealed that he underwent four surgeries and still had one more to do, but that he was finally released from the Intensive Care Unit.
DJ Poizen honoured at memorial service
Family and friends celebrated the life of DJ Poizen at his memorial service at the Centurion Shisanyama on Thursday, 11 September 2025.
Celebrities and loved ones gathered in large numbers to pay their respects to the DJ, who lost his life in the early hours of Saturday, 30 August 2025, in a car crash.
He was one of five casualties.
