Outspoken YouTuber Slik Talk has called out President Cyril Ramaphosa for publicly praising Democratic Alliance (DA)-led municipalities for their good governance.
Ramaphosa ruffled feathers when he admitted that the best-run municipalities and towns in South Africa are those governed by the DA. Slik Talk, famously known for bashing celebrities such as Dr Musa Mthombeni, joined the chat with a scathing attack on Ramaphosa.
Slik Talk criticises Ramaphosa over DA comments
On Tuesday, 16 September 2025, social media user @ThisIsColbert shared a snippet of Slik Talk reacting to Cyril Ramaphosa’s speech. In the snippet, the YouTuber, who previously weighed in on the feud between Minnie Dlamini and MacG, called Ramaphosa a coward.
He said that he has no respect for the African National Congress (ANC) leader as a man. Slik Talk fired:
“You know, in my entire existence, I've never seen a coward like Cyril Ramaphosa. I don't have this. I don't have respect for this guy as a man, not as a president, as a man. I don't respect him as a man. I've never seen a bigger coward than this guy, like he is up there with like some of the most corniest. Like, how can you be such a coward for you to be there on national television and say, ‘No, the other team is better, my opposition is better. Let's learn from them.’ Huh?”
Slik Talk suggested that Ramaphosa’s speech does not inspire confidence within the ANC. He advised Ramaphosa to step down because he is a coward.
“Imagine being a captain of a team and you're telling your teammates, let's learn from the other team, they're doing a better job than us, let's learn from them. You're a coward, man. A whole coward. Step down. Do yourself a favour, step down. I'm not really a political guy, but this guy is such a coward to me. Like, how can you be such a coward? Nothing about you screams a man,” Slik Talk added.
