Ayeye, finally, the man we have all been waiting to hear from has decided to break his silence regarding the ongoing controversy surrounding his wife, medical doctor, Nandipha Magudumana, and her alleged boyfriend, Thabo Bester.

In September 2025, during the premiere of Netflix's new documentary that had many viewers on the edge of their seats, Beauty and The Bester, Nandi's estranged hubby, Dr Mhuseli Magudumana, whom she legally tied the knot with in 2013 in a giant wedding, commented on the star's alleged affair with a convicted criminal.

Mkhuseli mentioned how this Nandi, he doesn't know, as she is not the same person he married or loved. He also spoke about the last time their kids saw Nandipha, which was when she dropped them off at school in 2023.

Nandi's brother, Nkosinathi, also revealed in the docuseries that he was in contact with Mkhuseli, trying to find out how he and the kids were doing and what he thought about the whole scandal.

He said:

"I called Nandipha’s husband and asked, 'How are you doing? How are the kids doing? How do you feel?' He said he doesn’t know this Nandipha. This is not the Nandipha he married, who is the mother of his kids. Something that he can’t explain got hold of Nandipha. And at least tell his kids, ‘Mommy has got questions to answer."

Who is Nandipha Magudumana?

Nandipha Magudumana, also known as Dr Nandipha and born Sekeleni, is a former South African doctor and public figure. She attended the University of the Witwatersrand. After losing her medical license, she was imprisoned in Kroonstad, Free State.

She went to Port Edward Primary School and Port Shepstone High School. In 2014, she worked at Edenvale Hospital for a year before joining Far East Rand Hospital, where she gained recognition as a physician specialising in anesthesiology, dermatology, plastic surgery, and related treatments.

Pearl Thusi's history with Thabo Bester spotlighted

Nandipha Magudumana and Thabo Bester aren't the only individuals who would be spotlighted by the docuseries.

Briefly News previously reported that the new Netflix docuseries Beauty and the Bester would also reveal a great deal about the popular media personality and reality TV star Pearl Thusi's brush with Thabo Bester.

Emotional actress Pearl Thusi was featured in a trailer promoting the three-part docuseries. According to Sunday World, Pearl Thusi had an encounter with the man who is dubbed the 'Facebook rapist' 13 years ago.
