Talented musician Tebogo Mashego, who is famously known for his hit track Biri Marung is reportedly stuck in Nigeria.

Mashego, who had social media buzzing when doctors danced to his popular song, is asking for donations on social media.

The musician also caused a buzz when South African pupils in a choir took part in the Biri Marung challenge.

Social media user MissNtabeni shared a video of the musician pleading for financial help on her X account on Friday, 19 September 2025.

In the video, the Biri Marung hitmaker shared that he's stranded in Nigeria and is asking for financial help after his team abandoned him and refused to pay him.

"Life is difficult. I told them that I don't wanna come to Nigeria. Please help so I can come back home," he says.
