South African radio personality Tbo Touch was the talk of the town recently after he posted a photo rocking a pricey hoodie.
The Metro FM star had tongues wagging when he rocked a Chrome Hearts top, putting the spotlight on his deep pockets once more.
How expensive is Tbo Touch's hoodie?
A user @Tsele_MK posted a meme of Touch rocking the black hoodie with the caption, "40K for a hoodie."
Mzansi can't help but wonder just how wealthy the star is. In 2016, Touch revealed his monthly salary at Metro FM was R200K, a huge jump from the R4200 he previously earned at the station.
In an interview with T-Bose Mokwele on Kaya FM‚ Tbo Touch had revealed that he was not satisfied with those earnings.
“About R200‚000 a month‚ when I left. It was nice. It was a nice cheque‚” he said at the time.
Despite this massive figure, he still decided to pack his bags and leave, but that did not stop him from returning to the station in 2023.
According to Sowetan, Touch said he left out of principle:
“No one has ever left at their prime‚ if you look at where I was. When you look at where I was‚ you know‚ what I’ve done. You don’t make that kinda decision when you’re earning the biggest cheque in the building‚ and you’re saying ‘I’m out’ out of principle‚” he was quoted saying.
