Cameron's body was discovered on the morning of 3 August 2026 by Graham Coetzee at a self-catering holiday home near Sabie, Mpumalanga. A second Johannesburg teenager was also found dead at the same property, with police now investigating both deaths. Her family described Cameron as a devoted daughter, sister, friend and student.
