Celebrated Lion King composer Lebo M has confirmed that his lobola negotiations with the family of his fifth wife, Nomoya Dube, have officially been concluded. Sharing the news on Instagram from Los Angeles on 11 August 2026, Lebo M described the gathering as a moment that reminded him why he cherishes his culture, writing that the Morake and Dube families came together to wrap up the process and that his new bride went home with her family.

"The Morake and Dube families gathered over the weekend to end the Lobola process. Morake fam went home with their Makoti AKERE. What a beautiful culture we have," he wrote in the post, which also showed his affection for Nomoya by tagging her directly and adding: "nothing like home @nomoyadube."

Lebo M says Mrs Mo is his last

The composer, who affectionately calls Nomoya "Mrs Mo," married her in January 2026, but completing the traditional lobola process has now made the union feel fully sealed for him. This milestone carries extra weight given his complicated history with marriage.

Lebo M has been married four times previously. His first marriage was to Viveca Gipson, with the couple sharing children before their union ended after roughly five years. He then married actress Nandi Ndlovu, and the two were together for about 11 years, with their divorce finalised in 2007. His third wife was Angela Ngani-Casara, whom he married in 2008. That marriage lasted about five years before ending in 2013, though the pair later reconciled and remarried before it all crumbled. His fourth marriage, to Pretty Samuels, lasted just over a year, and it was a very dramatic split.
