Veteran singer and actor Mbuso Khoza has landed in the middle of social media chatter after a video emerged showing him socialising and laughing with a woman who has made headlines for impersonating DJ Lamiez Holworthy.
The clip, posted on X by @babaMbatha_ on 17 August 2026, was filmed at what appears to be an outdoor cultural gathering under a tent-covered wooden deck venue, with bystanders moving freely in the background.
The woman in question, known online as Rural Zulu Girl, has built a controversial reputation for dressing and behaving like Lamiez Holworthy, with many critics labelling her behaviour as disrespectful. The drama between her and Lamiez recently escalated when Rural Zulu Girl appeared to taunt the DJ while she was hospitalised and awaiting emergency surgery.
Rural Zulu Girl Breaks Her Silence
Speaking to Maphephandaba, Rural Zulu Girl pushed back against claims that she started the feud, insisting that Lamiez threw the first punch. "She called me isalukazi esinemilenze emibi, and I guess it was okay. It's okay when your fave body shames me," she said. She followed that up with a pointed warning: "All I'm saying is, do not throw stones if you live in a glass house."
