The brothers reshared a clip originally posted by history page @HistorySAZAR, featuring their father, Dr Aggrey Mbere, in a 1990 Boston TV Archive interview. In the footage, Dr Mbere speaks with striking clarity about South Africa's political transition and his personal experiences as an exile. The duo quote-tweeted the post with just five words:

Who is Dr Aggrey Mbere?
Dr Mbere was a South African academic and prominent liberation activist who spent a significant portion of his life in exile in the United States during the apartheid era. It was during this period that twin brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere were born in Boston, Massachusetts. Major League DJz DJ Banele Khanya Mbere received a final letter of demand from SARS for over R1.19m in overdue tax.
SARS served the document to Mbere on 18 August, warning that failure to pay could trigger further legal enforcement action.
