A spotlight on Wicknell Chivayo's jaw-dropping watch collection has taken on a deeper significance following the Zimbabwean businessman's sudden death. Watch-spotting account Watchopea shared a detailed breakdown of his Jacob & Co. timepieces on 23 September 2026, just one week before he was killed in a helicopter crash in Marondera on 30 September 2026.
Chivayo, formerly known as Wicknell Munodaani Chivayo, was the founder and managing director of Intratrek Zimbabwe Limited and was widely recognised for his extravagant lifestyle. The post by Watchopea laid out nine Jacob & Co. pieces, placing the total value of his collection at more than $10 million.

The crown jewel of the collection was the Jacob & Co. Billionaire III in White Diamonds, priced at $3,300,000. It was followed by a Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon in Blue Sapphire Crystal with Rose Gold at $1,650,000, and a Caviar Tourbillon in Yellow Sapphires II valued at $760,000.

Rounding out the collection were a Rose Gold Bugatti Chiron ($445,000), a Bugatti Tourbillon in Rose Gold ($429,000), a Tourbillon with Blue Aventurine Dial ($324,000), an Astronomia Regulator Blue in Rose Gold ($324,000), a "The World Is Yours" Tourbillon ($280,000), and a Palatial Classic in Rose Gold with Malachite ($56,000). The nine pieces added up to a combined value of $7,568,000.
