Nota made his romance with Thandolwethu public in September, after months of dropping hints about a mystery partner on his social media pages. The relationship is reportedly his first since his divorce from Zimbabwean singer Berita, who bears a striking resemblance to his new partner.

Before the latest scandal, the relationship had already attracted scrutiny online, particularly around the couple's 15-year age gap, which drew considerable attention shortly after they went public.

Social media waits for Nota's reaction

The clip spread rapidly, and rather than debating its authenticity, many users seemed far more interested in how the outspoken podcaster would respond. Nota has never been shy about voicing strong opinions on other people's relationships and personal failings, and the irony of finding himself in this position was not lost on the internet.

_shwabade_ said:

"Can't wait to watch Nota crash out about this."

DenzellDumfries wrote:

"Finally! It's NOTA's day; that guy has a big mouth; he needs to chill."

motionsznn was amused:

"When does the next Piano Pulse episode drop? It needs popcorn and a cinema."

prudence_tsh added:

"He is not gonna survive another heartbreak."

Some users expressed sympathy, suggesting the situation might offer Nota a moment of humility, while others seemed braced for a public meltdown given how he has previously handled controversial topics on his podcast.
