Bhuti Omdala is opening up about his budding acting career.

The famous TikTok star recently landed a role on Isitha: The Enemy, and he describes the reception he's received as "humbling".

Bhuti, whose real name is Nhlanhla Koebu, says fans of the show have reached out to him to compliment him on how he's humanised the character.

He told TshisaLIVE it's exactly the sort of feedback he wanted from viewers, adding that their positive feedback is the most important thing to him.

"Sometimes that is enough — to make someone nod, to make someone think, to make someone forgive themselves for feeling."

That, he says, signals that his work resonates with people.

Bhuti Omdala is not only lighting up our TV screens, but he's also appearing at the Kiddies Mini Concert at Disoufeng, Soweto, on 20 September 2025.

The event, which takes place annually, hosts activities for the little ones and live musical performances that the whole family can enjoy.

Bhuti says attendees can expect fun children's songs, a short story "to warm their hearts," and simple dance moves that will get everyone on their feet — even the shy ones.

He adds that his set will include a quiet moment to remind the kids that they are important.

Bhuti aims to ensure there's laughter, a feeling of safety and that each child oozes confidence by the time they leave.

Bhuti Omdala was born with a Growth Hormone Deficiency (GHD) that affects his physical appearance and makes him look younger than he is.

His age is unclear, but it's thought that he's between 18 and 35 years old.

The social media sensation says he always dreamed of acting and landing a role on Isitha was a dream come true.

Bhuti portrays the role of Kinati, a conniving homeless boy who survives by deceiving people for financial gain.

“This is a huge milestone for me. Kinati is unpredictable; he’s charming one moment and dangerous the next.

The actor says his role on the eTV show is only the beginning for him.

Fans can expect him to take on roles that have meaning and provoke questions, rather than simply deliver storylines.

He has his eyes set on characters that tell the stories of local places and people.
