The man who is serving a South African breakfast by the roadside left people divided. Online users debated some aspects of his food business venture.

In a TikTok video by @juliusn92, a man set up a hot breakfast stall, serving people porridge. He used a black plastic bag usually reserved for bin bags as storage, for the hot porridge. He poured a couple of scoops porridge into a container as a product to the public by the roadside. One cup of porridge was being sold for R15.

Lawyer becomes vendor

Online users were also impressed by a man who turned to the streets to pursue entrepreneurship. Despite having a degree and qualifications to be a lawyer, then decided to become a vendor for extra money. People admired his hard work as the lawyer posed next to his little makeshift shop, which included roasted peanuts and other snacks.

Online users divided about porridge business

Some people complimented the man on his idea to use a cooler box to keep the porridge hot, others were concerned about the black plastic bag. Online users complained that it may be risky to store the porridgein the black plastic bags. Watch the video of the man selling porridge below:
