An American woman captured the hearts of many internet users after sharing a video of her new home in South Africa.

The clip, shared by TikTok user @shorttam, was met with a wave of welcoming messages and support from local social media users.

The video starts with the woman inside her new open-plan apartment, showing off a set of keys in her hand. She then moves to her balcony, filming the outside, which reveals a few other buildings.

The apartment's backyard boasts gorgeous trees and a swimming pool, a beautiful and inviting space. The woman is also seen smiling on the balcony, clearly excited about her new life in the country. She had mentioned in her previous videos that after visiting South Africa, she knew she would want to retire here. Her video is a culmination of that dream, as she shows off her new home. She looks happy with her decision and is looking forward to her new life in the country.
