A Checkers Sixty60 delivery rider had his cellphone and a customer's groceries stolen at gunpoint while waiting outside a residential gate to complete a delivery.
Security camera footage of the incident was shared on X by @15TeeJay on 9 August 2026 and quickly went viral. The clip, recorded from an elevated outdoor CCTV camera, shows the rider parked on his motorcycle near a brick-walled entrance, waiting for the customer to collect their order.
Two men then walk into frame and approach the rider. One of them got out a firearm and pointed it at him, leaving the young man with no way to respond. The robbers take his cellphone from his hands, open the delivery bin at the back of the motorcycle, remove the customer's groceries and flee on foot. The rider is left standing alone, visibly shaken, and is seen looking in the direction the men fled.
