A young woman found herself in a bind when she got locked inside her own home with a food delivery waiting in the driveway below. Rather than cancel the order, she improvised.

From an upstairs window, she lowered a long piece of string down to where the delivery driver was standing. After a couple of attempts to grab it, the driver tied her takeout bag to the end, and she pulled the meal up through the window. She then sent cash and a tip back down the same way.

Driver's kindness steals the show

What made the clip so endearing was not just the woman's quick thinking, but the delivery driver's cheerful willingness to play along. He made several good-humoured attempts to reach the string, and once he had it, he made sure the bag was fastened securely before letting her hoist it up. TikTok user @maso_vellem4 posted the video on 10 August 2026, and it quickly spread across social media, with many viewers praising the driver for going above and beyond.
