A South African car enthusiast left an international audience stunned after shipping his one-of-a-kind BMW E30 to a global car exhibition on 9 September 2026. The man, identified in the comments as Taariq Moosa, was filmed in an on-site interview at the show's exhibition hall, standing proudly beside his immaculate custom build. His opening line set the tone immediately: "First of all, I come from South Africa."

The car, which carries the personalised plate "Celeb GP", is one of a kind. Moosa said he builds a car specifically for the show every year and ships it from South Africa. The Tiffany Blue BMW E30 Cabriolet features a panoramic roof, custom hand-stitched interior, BBS wheels, air suspension, and a built-up engine.

The vehicle has racked up an impressive résumé back home. It has featured in 34 music videos, appeared in a Netflix series, and landed a spot in the Nike catalogue. "If you Google the most famous E30 in Africa, you'll see this car," Moosa told the reporter with confidence.
