A Cape Town bargain hunter has sent South African shoppers into a frenzy after revealing that a Woolworths outlet store has opened at Access Park, offering steep discounts on a wide range of products.

TikToker @tina.danaleigh shared the discovery on 8 October, filming her walk through the store in a browsing format that showed price tags, clothing racks and shelved merchandise up close.

The store carries an impressive range, from children's clothing and underwear to pyjamas, bedding and home items. According to the creator, most items are marked down significantly, with some reductions going beyond 50%.

One standout find was a leather jacket reduced from over R1,000 to R500. The bedding discounts also caught her attention, given how well-regarded Woolworths bedding is for quality but how costly it typically is at full price.

She made it clear she visited purely to scope out what was on offer rather than to shop, describing the trip as being "for journalism purposes." Even so, she said she would absolutely be returning.
