Taking to TikTok to voice her concerns, the young lady @amagh10 explained that activities such as Career Day, Africanwear Day, Fashion Day, and Clean Up Exercise Day, among others, negatively affect parents.

She opined that in the midst of Ghana's current economic situation, activities such as these for learners only worsen the financial burden on parents as they cost a lot of money.

On Career Day, for instance, she appealed to heads of schools to give prior notice to parents regarding these activities so they could prepare financially.

"They should alert the parents maybe 2 or a month time for parents to prepare towards it because money is scarce nowadays. They pressure the parents to buy the Career Day uniforms, and the kids will just be playing with the uniform during Career Day sessions.
The schools should also get qualified personnel from other professions to talk to the kids or educate them about that profession," she added.
