This marks Murdoch's fifth marriage, his previous union with Jerry Hall having spanned from 2016 until 2022.

Who is Elena Zhukova?

Zhukova, mother to Dasha Zhukova, a well-known Russian socialite and ex-wife of Roman Abramovich, the former owner of Chelsea FC, has a storied background.

She was previously married to Alexander Zhukov, a wealthy energy investor. She is a molecular biologist who focuses on diabetes research.

Zhukova moved to the United States from Russia with her daughter in 1991. She has since retired from her position at UCLA's medical research unit.
