In the footage, the woman can be seen lowering herself onto the tar road directly in the taxi’s path. As the driver attempted to move slowly forward, she held her ground, waving her hands and acting out theatrically. The unusual protest has been tied to mjolo's frustrations, with many speculating that the woman was confronting her partner or acting out of heartbreak. Expert Paula Quinsee on handling emotions in public fights
While speaking to Briefly News, certified relationship expert Paula Quinsee shared advice for individuals who may feel overwhelmed by their emotions and act out in public during difficult relationship moments, such as fighting with a partner, by saying:
"When emotional outbursts happen in public, it often comes from feelings of being unheard or desperation to get a reaction. But fighting in public can undermine one’s credibility and self-image."
In public conflicts, it is recommended to pause and agree to step away, demonstrating self-awareness and respect for each other.
"Making use of self-regulation practices such as deep breathing, grounding techniques, or journaling after arguments can help to rebuild connection and safety in the relationship again. If needed, seek the help of a professional or trusted friends to develop better communication and conflict management skills. Maintaining composure in public protects both your dignity and your relationship’s foundation," she added.
