In the clip, the daughter asked her parents to close their eyes and hold out their hands. She placed two beanies, one representing the All Blacks and the other the Springboks, into their palms.

“Don’t open your eyes, okay?” She told them playfully in the video that she shared under her TikTok handle @iamlushomo on 9 September.

When asked what they thought they were holding, her mother guessed a hat while her father joked that it might be a bikini.

Moments later, the parents opened their eyes, puzzled by the beanies, until their daughter revealed that the real surprise was tickets to watch the All Blacks face the Springboks live.

The TikTok user @iamlushomo's parents' reaction was priceless. Her father shouted in disbelief while her mother burst into laughter. The daughter then hugged her dad, saying he would be supporting the All Blacks, while her mom would proudly cheer for the Springboks.

“Are you kidding me? Oh my goodness...this one is a real surprise. Here we come, All Blacks!" said the dad in the clip.

The emotional clip ended with the daughter tearing up as she explained why the gesture meant so much.

“My parents have spent their whole lives making sure my dreams came true, even if it meant putting theirs on hold. And for as long as I can remember, one of their dreams was simple — to see the All Blacks vs the Springboks live. It took me 16 years, but this weekend I finally made it happen," @iamlushomo wrote on her TikTok caption.
