A Johannesburg woman has touched the hearts of thousands after sharing one of the most difficult moments in her life: watching her late husband's car get repossessed by the bank. The emotional video, posted on 19 September 2025 showed the painful process of saying goodbye to a vehicle filled with precious family memories.

The young mother explained that she could no longer afford to keep up with the car payments and maintenance costs. The Golf 7 R had been giving her constant problems, requiring frequent oil changes and repairs that she simply couldn't manage on her own. Despite the financial burden, letting go of the car was incredibly difficult because of all the memories it held.

In the video, she can be heard saying:

"The bank is here to take the cars, the cars are going, my husband's cars..." as she searched for spare keys.

The situation became even more heartbreaking when she revealed that her late husband had promised their son that he would inherit the car when he was old enough to drive. Throughout the video, her young son can be seen struggling with the situation, clearly devastated about losing the car his father had promised him.

She shared that the vehicle had been with their family for over six years, through countless precious moments, including bringing her twins home from the hospital.

"We had memories, our kids growing, getting the kids from the hospital, the twins, my husband loved this car," she said through tears.
