An American TikToker who lives with three husbands found herself at the centre of an unexpected cultural moment after her page was discovered by thousands of African users.

Kiarybaby posted the video on 18 August 2026, speaking directly to the wave of African followers who had begun filling her comments section. She told them she was thrilled to see them but completely lost when it came to reading what they were saying.

She said she lived in America, had three husbands, and was genuinely puzzled as to how she had ended up on African TikTok. Her best guess was that it had something to do with her polyamorous lifestyle, specifically the fact that it was a woman, not a man, with multiple partners.
