A Cape Town woman has given South Africans a behind-the-scenes look at what it's like working as a private chef for a family in the posh area of Camps Bay.

Content creator @somethinglekka, who regularly shares cooking videos and recipes, posted a day-in-the-life video on the 21 of July that had Mzansi asking loads of questions about her unique career.

In her video, she took viewers through a typical day of cooking for her clients. For lunch, she prepared simple burgers and chips for the kids, keeping them basic with just mayo, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and the patty. She explained that after cooking all day, she doesn't usually eat with the family even though she's allowed to.

For dinner, she made cauliflower mac and cheese, Hong Kong chicken, which she says is a family favourite, and roasted sweet potatoes. She blended the cauliflower into a creamy sauce, added cheddar and mozzarella cheese, then topped it with breadcrumbs before browning it in the oven.
