GAUTENG — Police have recovered firearms connected to the fatal Reiger Park shooting that claimed four lives on Friday, 8 August 2026.
Unidentified gunmen ambushed two Anti-Gang Unit (AGU) officers after they responded to reports of a fatal shooting in the area. Two women were also killed in the incident.
A manhunt was launched for the suspects, but police have now found weapons linked to the horrific shooting. The weapons were found in Duka Thole, a township situated near Germiston, east of Johannesburg.
