The former middleweight champion didn’t directly say anything relating to “white genocide,” but his public support for Trump and Musk, who projected the claims when the event trended on social media, gave the public the impression that he supports their claims.
While reacting to reports that South Africans were celebrating DDP's loss to Chimaev, Kaybee said the backlash was expected after the MMA star’s defeat.
“Why did he lie or carry the white genocide propaganda?" Prince Kaybee asked.
"We have our differences. But in most cases, people generally get along. I have white people who religiously listen to my music, and I appreciate them as people who support me."
"Why was he embracing the falsehood? Did he not think it would come with some backlash? What was he thinking, man?”
What Du Plessis said about Trump and Elon Musk
Before Du Plessis faced Sean Strickland earlier this year, the UFC star wore a slogan T-shirt that read: “Trump prefers champions”.
“He is amazing, and I’ve had the privilege of meeting him," DDP said when questioned about Trump.
“He said good changes are coming. He’s holding many people and countries accountable for everything, and it’s amazing to see”.
The 31-year-old MMA star also gave a shout out to Musk, who was also pushing the agenda that South Africa is guilty of “promoting a white genocide”.
"Big shout-out to fellow South African Elon Musk for also doing the right thing. Like I said, Trump prefers champions,” he added.
